On the Topic of... Decoration

 

I always look forward to November because it marks the beginning of the festive season, and for me, that means an opportunity to start decorating my home.  With Christmas just over a month away, this is the perfect time to begin adding a few festive features.  Simple touches such as lighting a few candles, bringing the outdoors inside with some seasonal foliage or adding festive accessories to your table, can all help create that lovely wintery atmosphere, which makes a home feel warm and cosy and gets us in the spirit for the festivities to come!

 

 

Traditionally reserved for the tree, baubles also make fantastic house decorations or table place gifts that can be the perfect party favours for your guests to take home.

 

 

Using seasonal foliage is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to decorate for winter. Simple things such as popping a few branches in vases around the house or using other natural decorations such as orange peel and pinecones on your table, can give your home a rustic touch that looks elegant and sophisticated whilst requiring relatively little effort!
